  18. I have just been reading the message traffic on the problems with Kermit 
  19. transfers using HP48 to PC.  I've managed to get Kermit transfers with 
  20. the older and the newer versions of Kermit (DOS), but usually have to 
  21. fiddle around with it for a bit to get the right.  I tried using 
  22. ProCommPlus a couple of times and always caused a Windows GPF.  I tried 
  23. QmodemPro for Win95 and could never get a file transfer in the Kermit 
  24. mode.  I had to set the   protocol to ASCII to transfer data from my 
  25. HP48.  Surprizingly the little terminal program that comes with Windows 
  26. 3.1 is the one that seems to be the easiest to use and most effective 
  27. method of the bunch.
